World Athletics v Salwa Eid Naser

Sports Resolutions

A decision in the case of World Athletics against Salwa Eid Naser has been issued by the Disciplinary Tribunal, operated independently by Sport Resolutions.

On 4 June 2020, the Athletics Integrity Unit issued Ms Naser with a Notice of Charge for two charges, based on four alleged Whereabouts Failures.

The Disciplinary Panel comprised of Charles Hollander QC (Chair), Janie Soublière and Julien Berenger determined that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) had not been established to the Panel's comfortable satisfaction as the requirements of Rule 2.4 of the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules had not been met. As a result, the charges against Ms Naser were dismissed.
