Knights’ Sports Team includes experts with substantial knowledge and a genuine passion to support those across the sector, with many of our colleagues having personal experience in the industry. We work with a wide range of clients including athletes, agents, clubs, brands, governing bodies, international federations and other businesses operating in the sector.

With a full-service offering, we provide sports organisations with effective support across all of their operational requirements, from buying and selling clubs, advising on complex commercial arrangements and partnerships, commercialisation of brand and IP, managing operational staff, maximising return from data, unlocking the value in property assets, and handling procurement issues, through to crisis and reputation management, litigation and effective dispute resolution.

In addition, we regularly support athletes, managers and club owners on matters spanning both their personal and professional life. Whether it is buying a new property, or dealing with a family matter, through to protection of their individual brand, or supporting on reputational issues, we are available whenever the client needs us.

The Team also has substantial experience discretely advising both clubs and their owners / investors on corporate transactions, mindful of the high level of public interest that such transactions attract. We bring together multi-disciplinary teams, working alongside third-party specialists as required, to ensure transactions are completed smoothly and efficiently - allowing the club to focus their efforts on competition.

Whilst we have significant experience in football, rugby and motor racing, our clients span a wide range of sports, including horse racing, basketball, athletics and cricket.
